The illustration for this outdoor sign at Maui Ocean Center gives "A Sense of Place" as the viewer faces the scenery of Ma‘alaea Harbor and beyond. The harbor illustration was hand inked from panoramic photos, scanned and completed with digital color. The illustration was stylized to keep it as simple as possible while showing all of the detail of the immediate harbor surroundings.
