Maui Ocean Center wanted to present a concept for a new interpretive area in the aquarium called "Behind the Scenes." They needed to come up with a floor plan and three conceptual renderings to present to their corporate office for approval. The floor plan was done in Adobe Illustrator and measurements were taken to make the scaled down draft as accurate as possible. The conceptual illustrations were archived with a combination of hand drawings and digital work in Adobe Photoshop. In some cases, photos of existing aquariums were taken and dropped into place. Previously created signs from Maui Ocean Center's digital library were also used to show where new signs would be placed.
